Don't Lose The Jokes

In your main Highlight Film, we might use one or two sentences from the Best Man’s speech.


But he spoke for 10 minutes. He told that story about the time you got lost in Tokyo. He made your mum cry. He made the whole room erupt in laughter.

If you don't have a Speeches Film, those words disappear into the ether.

THE EDIT

Multi-Cam Production

This isn't just a static camera on a tripod.


We shoot speeches with 3 Cameras:

Cam A: Close up on the speaker.

Cam B: Close up on the couple (reactions).

Cam C: Wide shot of the bridal table/room.

We edit between these angles. When the speaker tells a joke, we cut to you laughing. When they mention your parents, we cut to your parents. It makes it engaging to watch.

AUDIO MASTERING

Hear It Clearly

We place a microphone on the speaker (or plug into the DJ's board). We clean up the audio in post-production, removing the background chatter and the clinking cutlery. It sounds like a podcast.
