A Save The Date Video is a short (30–60 second) film that you send via WhatsApp, Email, or your Wedding Website. It does two things:

  • Announces the Date: Obviously.

  • Sets the Vibe: If your video is you running into the ocean and drinking champagne, guests know it’s going to be a fun party. If it’s slow and romantic in the mountains, they know it’s a formal affair.

HOW TO SHOOT IT

The Pre-Wedding Session

We film this during your Pre-Wedding / Engagement Shoot.
We spend the last 15 minutes of the shoot getting specific shots:

  • Writing the date in the sand.

  • Holding a sign.

  • Just looking happy together.

We then edit it quickly so you can send it out 6–12 months before the wedding.

DIGITAL DELIVERY

Easy To Share

We give you a link (Vimeo/YouTube) and a file.
You can text it to everyone in your phone book. It saves on postage stamps!

Can we use photos too?

Yes. We can create a slideshow of your engagement photos mixed with video clips.

How far in advance should we send this?

For a local wedding, 6–8 months is standard. For a destination wedding (especially Italy!), send it 12 months out. Your guests need time to book flights and leave, and a video gets them excited to click "book" faster than a paper card.

Can we use drone footage in the video?

Absolutely. If we are shooting at a beach or in the mountains, a big epic drone shot with the date overlaid in text looks incredible. It sets the scene immediately.
